Savignone Romagna Centesimino DOC Oriolo
Savignone is Poderi Morini’s tribute to Luigi Veronelli and to Centesimino, a rare native grape of Romagna. Veronelli believed that the name “Centesimino” did not do justice to the variety and preferred the name Savignone, an Italianization of “Savignôn”, its Romagna dialect name.
Savignone is a Romagna Centesimino DOC Oriolo with aromas of wild rose, strawberry, and pomegranate; aromatic and pleasantly tannic. Pair it with dishes boasting intense, aromatic, or spicy flavors, with peperonata, and with cured meat platters.
The artist’s label is signed by Pablo Echaurren.

THE CENTESIMINO STORY
Centesimino is at the heart of Poderi Morini’s identity. The variety was rediscovered in the estate’s vineyards and became one of Alessandro Morini’s central projects, inspired also by his relationship with Luigi Veronelli.
Savignone is therefore more than a wine: it is part of the story of a native grape brought back into the spotlight.
